Guidelines for authors

Guidelines for authors

The journal physioscience addresses to physiotherapists of all disciplines and interested members of other occupational groups. physioscience is archived in thieme.connect ( Subscribers have access to full texts, non-subscribers only to the abstracts.

Manuscripts are accepted that support the expertise in physiotherapy. Suitable types of papers are: original articles, systematic literature reviews, case reports, study protocols and short communication. In general, articles in German and English are accepted that have neither been published in Germany nor abroad. In addition, they may not be submitted to any other journal at the same time. It is taken for granted that the corresponding author holds the copyright as well as the co-authors permission for publication.

Submitted manuscripts are anonymised and subjected to a peer review process. After approximately 10 weeks the author will be informed whether the article will be published in physioscience and if changes are necessary for publication.

physioscience is listed in the Web of Science Core Collection (Emerging Sources Citation Index, ESCI).
physioscience requires that authors follow the ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) recommendations for the conduct, reporting, editing, and publication of scholarly work in medical journals. More information can be found at
