Interview with Jie Wu

This Young Career Focus presents Jie Wu (National University of Singapore, Singapore).

Jie Wu received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Beijing Normal University (P. R. of China) in 2006 and his Ph.D. from Boston University (USA) under the supervision of Professor James S. Panek in 2012. He then was appointed as SkolTech Postdoctoral Fellow with Professors Timothy F. Jamison and T. Alan Hatton at MIT (USA) from 2012 to 2014. After working for a short period in industry, he joined the Department of Chemistry at the National University of Singapore (Singapore) as an assistant professor in 2015. He already received several awards during his career, for example, the Asian Core Program Lectureship Award from China (2017), the Young Chemist Award from the Department of Chemistry at the National University of Singapore (2018), and the Thieme Chemistry Journals Awards (2019).
