Science of Synthesis Knowledge Updates – Neuer Herausgeber

Professor Alexander O. Terent’ev betreut als Herausgeber Science of Synthesis Volume 38: Peroxides

We are very pleased to introduce Prof. Alexander Terent’ev as a new member of the team of Science of Synthesis Volume Editors.

Prof. Terent’ev is currently Chief of Laboratory and Deputy Director of the N.D. Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry (Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow), Professor in the D.I. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (Moscow), and Chief of Laboratory in the All-Russian Research Institute for Phytopathology (Moscow region). His research interests are organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, agrochemistry, chemical technology, manufacture of biologically active compounds, and composite materials.  More information about the research undertaken in the group of Prof. Terent’ev can be found here.

In his role as the Volume Editor for the updates of Science of Synthesis Volume 38, Prof. Terent’ev is overseeing content on developments in the area of organic peroxide chemistry. The original Volume 38 on Peroxides was published in 2008 (Volume Editor: Prof. Albrecht Berkessel). The first updates were already published in 2019 (see below), and we look forward to further chapters on important advances in the synthesis and application of peroxy compounds in the future.
