Professor Ryoji Noyori
Professor Noyori is a former Member of the Editorial Board of Science of Synthesis and was one of the founders of Science of Synthesis
Professor Ryoji Noyori won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2001. He shared half of the prize with William S. Knowles for the study of chirally catalyzed hydrogenations. The other half went to K. Barry Sharpless for his work on chirally catalyzed oxidation reactions.
He is a strong advocate of Science of Synthesis and has said:
