SYNFORM presents an interview with SynOpen Associate Board member Taek Seung Lee (Chungnam National University, South Korea). Taek Seung Lee received a PhD in fiber and polymer science in 1994. After postdoctoral research at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (South Korea) and the University of Massachusetts Lowell (USA), he joined Chungnam National University (South Korea) as an assistant professor in 1997 and became a full professor in 2008. His research interests include the synthesis of functional organic materials and the construction of hybrid nanomaterials, which have potential uses in photocatalysis, cathode materials for Li-ion batteries, OLED, and chemical/biological sensors. In January 2023, he was appointed as Associate Board member of SynOpen.
