SYNFORM presents an interview with SynOpen Associate Board member Vibha Tandon (Jawaharlal Nehru University, India). Vibha Tandon obtained her Ph.D. in 1991 in chemistry from Allahabad University (India). She carried out postdoctoral studies at the Department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur (India) to develop synthetic methodology for oxidation of alkenes and sulfides using cobalt complexes as organometallic catalyst. In 2009, she joined Delhi University (India) as an assistant professor at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Centre for Biomedical Research, and later in the same year moved to the Department of Chemistry, as an associate professor. Presently, she is a professor at the Special Centre for Molecular Medicine (SCMM), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU, India).
