SynOpen Welcomes New Crowd Review Editor Dr. Eduarda Silva
As of October 1, 2021, Dr. Eduarda Silva from the University of Porto, Portugal, will join the Editorial Board of SynOpen as responsible Crowd Review Editor.
Eduarda M. P. Silva studied chemistry at the University of Aveiro (Portugal), completing her MSc degree in Natural Product Chemistry in 2005. She then moved the University of Reading (UK) to carry out her PhD studies in the group of Prof. Laurence M. Harwood graduating in 2009. Following that, she returned to the University of Aveiro to work as a postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Prof. Artur M. S. Silva. In 2016, she became an assistant researcher at REQUIMTE at the University of Porto (Portugal) and was since promoted to Assistant Professor and is now working at IUCS-CESPU. Her research is focused on the development and synthesis of dual MS-FL lipid probes for investigation of biological functions involving lipids.
