Edgar Ungeheuer Award – Your Video Paper in ZfOU

The German Society for Surgery annually awards the Edgar Ungeheuer Prize as recognition for an educational video of special scientific and didactic value for the DGCH media library. Edgar Ungeheuer Prize –(German website: Edgar Ungeheuer Preis - dgchs Webseite!)

Eligible are contributions submitted and accepted into the media library between two DGCH annual congresses. The prize is awarded by the committee of the Surgical Working Group Media (CAM), in which all surgical specialist societies are represented. The CAM also provides scientific oversight for the media library located at the Aesculap Academy.

The Edgar Ungeheuer Prize has been awarded since 2001, is endowed with €3,000, and is sponsored by the Aesculap Academy.
