Cooperation between Synthesis Workshop and Thieme Chemistry
We are very glad about this cooperation! The mission of Matthew Horwitz – host of Synthesis Workshop is exactly what we wish for young chemists all over the world. That´s why we want to support his work and be more than happy, that he gives our journal awardees a voice in his Research Spotlight episodes.
Matthew’s vision is to improve our collective awareness of important advances in an increasingly efficient manner. That´s why Synthesis Workshop takes a three pronged approach:
- Total Synthesis and Named Reaction episodes work to make innovative areas of chemical space accessible to a broader audience
- Culture of Chemistry episodes investigate the “human side” of this career path, which presents other types of challenges.
- Research Spotlight episodes get researchers involved in presenting their own recently published work in an open-access format
