It includes among others five antibiotics, three of which are glycopeptides, three antivirals for treatment of hepatitis C, three anticancers, the new tuberculosis drug Delamanid, as well as the first cardiovascular NEP-inhibitor Sacubitril, which is approved in combination with Valsartan. A milestone in the therapy of cystic fibrosis was enabled by combination of the CFTR-corrector Lumacaftor with the CFTR-potentiator Ivacaftor.
