Interview with Ahmad Masarwa
This Young Career Focus presents Ahmad Masarwa (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel).
Ahmad Masarwa pursued his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa (Israel) which he completed in 2005. He stayed at the same institute to study towards his M.Sc. and Ph.D. (2006–2013). Following his Ph.D. studies, Ahmad joined the University of California, Berkeley (USA) in 2013 as a postdoctoral scholar. In July 2016, Ahmad Masarwa started his tenure-track faculty position as an Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer) at The Institute of Chemistry of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel), where he was appointed as The Azrieli Early Career fellow. Ahmad is a recipient of the 2023 Thieme Chemistry Journals Award.
