Interview with Manuel Nappi
This Young Career Focus presents Manuel Nappi (University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain).
Manuel Nappi did his BSc and MPhil degrees at the University of Turin (Italy). In 2014, he obtained his PhD in organic chemistry at ICIQ (Tarragona, Spain) under the supervision of Professor Paolo Melchiorre, including a six-months stay in 2012 in the group of Nobel laureate David MacMillan at Princeton University (USA). At the end of 2014, he joined the group of Professor Matthew Gaunt as postdoctoral research associate at the University of Cambridge (UK). In 2021, Manuel joined CIQUS in Santiago de Compostela (Spain) as USC Manuela Barreiro Distinguished Researcher to develop his independent research program. Manuel is one of the recipients of the 2023 Thieme Chemistry Journals Award.
