SYNTHESIS Welcomes New Editorial Board Member Professor Corinna Schindler
As of May 1, 2021, Professor Corinna Schindler from the University of Michigan, USA, will join the Editorial Board of SYNTHESIS as responsible Editor for Special Topics and Issues.
Corinna Schindler grew up in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany, and received her diploma in chemistry from the Technical University of Munich in Germany. After a research stay with Prof. K. C. Nicolaou at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla (USA), she joined the group of Erick M. Carreira at ETH Zurich in Switzerland for her graduate studies. She then returned to the USA to conduct postdoctoral studies with Prof. Eric N. Jacobsen at Harvard University before starting her independent career at the University of Michigan in 2013. Her research laboratory focuses on the development of new synthetic transformations and the synthesis of biologically active complex molecules.
