Three Thieme Poster Prizes were awarded to Kota Kataoka, Hiroki Iwamoto, and Shoma Chiba at the 51tst Symposium on Main Group Element Chemistry (MGEC-51), which took place in Kyoto (Japan) from December 5th-7th, 2024. Congratulations!


Kota Kataoka

Kota Kataoka from Graduate School of Science (Kyoto University) wins the SynOpen Poster Prize for his poster on Synthesis of BN-embedded higher-order acenes with tuned emission wavelengths.


Hiroki Iwamoto

Hiroki Iwamoto from Osaka University wins the Synlett Poster Prize for his poster on Synthesis of Benzoarsole Derivatives via Arsenic Cation


Shoma Chiba

Shoma Chiba from Kwansei Gakuin University wins the SYNTHESIS Poster Prize for his poster on γ-Selective alkylation of tertiary alkyl amines enabled by α-ammonio radical.


Each of the three winners was awarded a one-year subscription to our Thieme journal, SYNFACTS.
